MEGATRIPOLIS. A NEOLOGISM I COINED TO PSYCHEDELISE THE SOUL- wonderful review by Raskin - WALDMAN is a star soaring through the heavens- San Francisco & City Lights should have filmed her performance for posterity- Every man and every woman is a star- the poetic universe is a galaxy all its own where WALDMAN reigns supreme FRIACO TONY
Enjoyed your comments concerning the unreviewability of such a volume and your blending of the live and the read. Her capacity to produce works of such length, variety, and density is remarkable.
Thanks, Marc. I also enjoyed Jonah's combination of approaches: listening to the reading and then looking at the poems on the page. A clever and effective feat.
I met Anne Waldman a few times during my years in Montreal. She was always 'on', always engaged, engaging and curious. When I saw her read in 2004 she took the roof off the building, she slew everyone in the room, she was a giant. A great poetic performer.

Dude what do you have to do to leave a comment

It is indeed.
Anne is all that and more. Good review for sure. She kept her distance from
WSB unlike Allen or Patti Smith who visited WIlliam here in Lawrence often.
Thank you, Jim, for that reflection.

A terrific tribute, Vincent. Thank you for your remarks.
