FROM THE very earliest days of Rock and the Beat Generation, we have invited poets and novelists, biographers and journalists, musicians and artists, to share a personal ‘Beat Soundtrack’ – favourite Beat texts, views on the ways in which Beat and music have connected, their individual Beat lives plus the singers and bands who have captured not only their own imagination but reflected something of the spirit of the Beat Generation
