A while back a group of my old friends had planned to do a YOLO trip to Hibbing because we all shared a somewwhat obsessive interest in Dylan's roots. Great to see that this book fills the void that our aborted trip left us with. What we did come up with was a sort of radio play ,based on one of our group's son's fierce opposition and ridicule of our plans that incorporated several spoken word rock pieces on Dylan related themes that we'd produced over the years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RX4-YdgHcZw&t=2153s

SIMON: A YOLO -You Only Live Once- something you want to do -or feel you MUST do before you die...I'm enjoying your site immensely ...interconnections between Jazz& Rock and The Beats that were present even before Punk brought those connections to a whole new level -and you've done what hadn't been done before- sussed out those relationships in your paradigm establishing TEXT AND DRUGS AND ROCK 'N'ROLL-even if for many at this stage it's the old barb"From acid to acid reflux" or worse "From flowers in your hair to Flowers at Your grave "....I just read your interview at Rock Critics.com - Scott just posted my long rant about rock critics at the site - All the Best -Dave
